Our parking is located in the very heart of Krakow and offers 20 parking spaces for hotel guests.

Cost: 65 PLN / day

Due to the limited number of spaces, we recommend booking a parking spot after making your hotel reservation.

In the spirit of sustainable development, we are currently preparing 2 electric vehicle charging stations. Soon you'll be able to charge your cars directly at our hotel!

Travel with care for the environment.

Dear Guests, to ensure your journey to Best Western Plus Kraków Old Town is smooth and worry-free, we would like to inform you about the new traffic regulations in the city center. Starting January 1, 2026, Kraków will introduce a Clean Transport Zone (SCT).

Here is what you need to know before arrival:

• Cars with Polish license plates: If your vehicle meets the minimum emission standards (Euro 4/2005 for petrol or Euro 6/2014 for diesel), no action is required. If it does not meet them, an entry fee applies.
• Cars with foreign license plates. Important: All vehicles registered abroad must be registered in the SCT system prior to entry – even if they fully meet the emission standards. Failure to register may result in a fine.

Our journey began many years ago...
When we look back in time, it’s easy to see how trends and public awareness have evolved over the years regarding what is now known as the Green Tourism movement. In the hospitality industry, these changes are especially significant—particularly when we realize how much influence we can have on shaping the attitudes of tourists visiting our city.
Living and working in such a unique location, we felt a strong desire to make it easier for others to come and enjoy everything our region has to offer—without harming the natural environment. For many years, we have actively promoted and implemented projects focused on key aspects of sustainable development.

Our most valuable pillar is our workforce. From the very beginning, it has been the people who form the foundation of our company. Stable employment conditions mean that many employees have been with us for years, building experience, quality, and trust together. We offer a benefits package that positively impacts wellbeing, including holidays benefit, private medical care, and programs that support physical activity, health, and safety. We create a work environment based on mutual respect and stability.

For nearly 10 years, we have consistently taken action in areas such as water management, energy conservation, and recycling.

In all hotel rooms and staff facilities, we implement solutions aimed at reducing water consumption. Faucets and showers are equipped with flow restrictors, and all toilets feature dual flush buttons, allowing guests to choose the amount of water used with each flush.

We encourage our guests to limit the frequency of towel and linen changes, which significantly contributes to reducing water and energy usage, as well as the amount of chemicals used in the hotel.

Since 2017, we have been using energy-efficient LED lighting throughout the facility, which:

• consumes less energy,
• has a longer lifespan (resulting in less waste),
• contains no harmful substances,
• is fully recyclable,
• generates less heat and radiation than traditional light sources.

Thanks to this solution, we reduce our carbon footprint and support the development of modern, eco-friendly technologies.

Out of concern for the environment, in 2023 we introduced water dispensers instead of plastic bottles. This solution allows us to:

• reduce the amount of plastic waste,
• lower the cost of purchasing bottled water,
• ensure constant access to fresh, filtered water.

One of our latest investments is modern waste sorting bins that facilitate subsequent recycling. Processing waste into new products:

• reduces the amount of garbage going to landfills,
• conserves natural resources and energy,
• decreases soil and water pollution,
• reduces greenhouse gas emissions.

Used batteries, instead of being thrown into regular bins, are collected in special containers, which prevents them from polluting the environment.

Sustainability is not only about ecology, but also about supporting the local community. That’s why:

• we promote local food by cooperating with nearby producers,
• we encourage guests to visit places like the Pietruszkowy Market, where they can buy fresh, seasonal products directly from farmers,
• we offer activities with local guides,
• we actively participate in city campaigns such as #respectkrakow,
• we support local youth sports teams as well as campaigns and fundraisers for those in need,
• we promote walking and cycling as ways to explore the area.

We believe that every change, no matter how small, matters. By implementing new eco-friendly solutions, we not only care for our planet but also help shape new standards in tourism. We are pleased that more and more guests appreciate these efforts and willingly support our mission. Our goal for 2025 and 2026 is to strengthen and raise awareness of our sustainability initiatives, provide ongoing education for employees and hotel guests on sustainable development, and obtain certification confirming that we are heading in the right direction.
