We provide excellent conditions for both work and business meetings, as well as relaxation after exploring Kraków and the surrounding area.

Thanks to our pleasant atmosphere and a prime location that makes discovering the Old Town easy, we have become a key destination on Kraków’s hospitality map.

Our interiors are family-friendly and fully accessible for guests with disabilities.

Pets are welcome.

Our parking is located in the very heart of Krakow and offers 20 parking spaces for hotel guests.

Cost: 65 PLN / day

Due to the limited number of spaces, we recommend booking a parking spot after making your hotel reservation.

Dear Guests, to ensure your journey to Best Western Plus Kraków Old Town is smooth and worry-free, we would like to inform you about the new traffic regulations in the city center. Starting January 1, 2026, Kraków will introduce a Clean Transport Zone (SCT).

Here is what you need to know before arrival:

• Cars with Polish license plates: If your vehicle meets the minimum emission standards (Euro 4/2005 for petrol or Euro 6/2014 for diesel), no action is required. If it does not meet them, an entry fee applies.
• Cars with foreign license plates. Important: All vehicles registered abroad must be registered in the SCT system prior to entry – even if they fully meet the emission standards. Failure to register may result in a fine.

Looking back in time, we can easily see how trends and social awareness regarding the current Green Tourism movement have evolved over the years. In the hotel industry, these changes are of particular importance – especially when we realize how much influence we can have on shaping the attitudes of tourists visiting our city.
Living and operating in such an extraordinary location, we felt that we wanted to make it easier for others to visit and enjoy everything our region has to offer – without harming the natural environment. For many years, we have been actively promoting and implementing projects related to key aspects of sustainable development.

Our most valuable pillar is our staff. From the very beginning, it is the people who have formed the foundation of our company. Stable employment conditions mean that many employees have been with us for years, building experience, quality, and trust together with us. We provide a package of benefits that positively affect wellbeing, including, among others, co-financing for holidays, private medical care, and programs supporting sports activity, health, and safety. We create a work environment based on mutual respect and stability.

For almost 10 years, we have been consistently implementing actions in areas such as water management, energy saving, and recycling.

In all hotel rooms and staff areas, we use solutions that limit water consumption. Flow restrictors are installed in faucets and showers, and all toilets are equipped with dual-flush buttons, allowing the selection of the amount of water used for each flush.

We encourage our guests to limit the frequency of towel and bed linen changes, as this contributes significantly to reducing the consumption of water, energy, and chemicals in the hotel.

Since 2017, we have been using energy-efficient LED lighting throughout the entire facility, which:

• consumes less energy,
• has a longer lifespan (which means less waste),
• does not contain harmful substances,
• is fully recyclable,
• produces less heat and radiation than traditional light sources.

Thanks to this solution, we reduce our carbon footprint and support the development of modern, eco-friendly technologies.

Out of concern for the environment, in 2023 we introduced water dispensers instead of plastic bottles. This solution allows us to:

• reduce the amount of plastic waste,
• lower the costs of purchasing bottled water,
• ensure constant access to fresh, filtered water.

One of our latest investments is modern waste segregation containers, which facilitate subsequent recycling. Processing waste into new products:

• reduces the amount of waste going to landfills,
• saves natural resources and energy,
• reduces soil and water pollution,
• lowers greenhouse gas emissions.

Used batteries are not thrown into regular trash bins, but are collected in special containers, so they do not pollute the environment.

Sustainable development is not only about ecology but also about supporting the local community. Therefore:

• we promote local food by cooperating with producers from the area,
• we encourage our guests to visit places such as Rynek Pietruszkowy, where you can buy fresh, seasonal products directly from farmers,
• we offer activities with local guides,
• we actively participate in city campaigns such as #respectkrakow,
• we support local youth teams as well as campaigns and collections for those in need,
• we promote walking and cycling as a way to discover the area.

We believe that every change, even the smallest one, matters. By introducing further ecological solutions, we care not only for our planet but also shape new standards in tourism. We are pleased that more and more guests appreciate these actions and willingly support our mission.
